We closed on our house January 2018. Before deciding to build our home with Overstreet, my husband and I visited the model home for 3 years until we were ready. Jim in the Elgin office is wonderful! I guess I should have read the reviews before I started working with Overstreet. We decided to look for houses and ended up in Elgin area. We looked at few houses and thought about it and decided to go see overstreet builders and build our own house. We got information on one weekend and next weekend we decided to look at some pricing. My wife and I stopped in on a weekend to look at the model and spoke with Jim who seemed pretty informative and helpful. I told him our price range, which was at the minimum there houses start at, but we wanted to walk through an existing home to get a feel for the layouts anyways. After a few emails back and forth communication stopped from Jim, i tried two more times to reach out with response.
