I had no choice but to give one star, as there isn't an option for zero. Communicating with Andrew before the trip was incredibly frustrating; it took him 2-3 weeks to respond to my inquiries. When we reached their parking lot, the only available Jeep had a completely cracked windshield and a torn roof tent cover. We rented a Dodge Ram ProMaster 2500 from Overland Yukon and ended up in a life-threatening situation. The van auto-locked with the key fob inside, leaving us outside at night in 1°C, in bear country, with no phones or adequate clothing. To survive, we had to break into the vehicle, injuring ourselves — and discovered the promised first aid kit was missing. Our group of 6 rented a van and a Jeep from Overland Yukon, and it was honestly the highlight of our trip. Andrew made everything so easy, from explaining the routes to making sure we were fully equipped. Both vehicles were comfortable, reliable, and perfect for covering long stretches while still letting us explore hidden spots off the beaten path. This place did make the Dempster drive possible, so I’m giving stars for that, and for providing transportation to/from hotel. No issue with the vehicle or the camping equipment. Otherwise, this service is way too expensive for what it is. And even after paying for all of the insurance, the deductibles are unbelievably high ($3500), high enough to pay for most repairs, so what is the insurance for?
