I didn't like waiting in the hallway for 7 hrs before I got the room.. I doubt I will ever go back there again I will go other bigger hospital if I ever have to go!!
While I appreciate I was admitted quickly, I believe I was misdiagnosed. I had a reaction to one of my post-surgery prescriptions. The skin in my mouth was tearing and the initial doctor thought it might be Steven’s-Johnson syndrome. The remaining doctors that saw me ruled it out; however, that’s what it is. My skin is still peeling, I’ve reached out to patient advocacy, I’m still in pain and ongoing, yet not a call back having called twice on Monday.
A service was quick and fast, and the nurses were very nice.
Shout out to the nurses and other techs. Overall I feel I got pretty good care "in the moment," but felt there was a lack communication between the professionals and certainly with me. I took a fall, had some head trauma and temporary aphasia. What I do remember, however, is that the doc gave me stitches without an anesthetic. I may not remember everything but I remember that!
