One of best most friendliest places for support they go above and beyond with care . The cakes and food from kitchen are delicious. The new build nwill be amazing addition .

I never heard of this place until two weeks ago when sadly my mother had to be admitted. Something I was very reluctant to do. But I can now honestly say from the bottom of my heart it was the best decision I ever made. She had the best end of life care because of these guys. They went above and beyond. This hospice is a really lovely place to volunteer and work with some of the kindest, most professional and caring individuals I have ever met in my whole working life. The standards to which all staff and volunteers are held are exemplary, and all training that is provided is scrutinised, and all have to undertake the trainiing. My husband was an inpatient in Overgate during the summer of 2023. He died in Overgate peacefully and with dignity. The hospice staff could not have done any more they were professional, informative, empathic, and caring. As a family we all felt supported at every stage of our journey and afterwards.
