Recently we took our car to Overall Automotive in Poplar Grove for an oil change and tire rotation. They seemed very nice. Several days later we drove the car 200 miles to central Illinois. We stopped about half way to get gas. But upon arriving at the town of our destination, the car started smelling like burning oil. When we pulled off the road, checked the oil, it was empty. Overall Automotive has worked on 2 of my vehicles a few times over the years, and service was great and parts were fixed well and timely. However, I recently brought my vehicle in because something was misfiring with the transmission or possibly a bad belt. The rpms were shooting up when hardly accelerating and there was a whining noise under the hood. Overall Auto looked at it, drove it, and told me nothing was wrong.
