I was visiting Palm Springs for work and needed a retirement cake for a co-worker. I contacted the bakery about 2 weeks before the date the cake was needed. I received a very timely response. I sent over a couple reference pictures along with a description of a few things I wanted incorporated. The staff helped walk me through everything- size/ serving size, and flavor. We had Over the Rainbow make our cake for our destination wedding in Palm Desert. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, commented that this was the best cake (not just wedding cake) that they had ever tasted. Not to mention, they also killed the blue sky design that made the final effect with our airplane topper simply perfection! It was a focal point of the reception. Incredible cakes here. Asking for a Keith harring inspired birthday cake and Over the Rainbow delivered. Was a half sheet cake. Alot taller of a cake than I was expecting. Chocolate cake was moist and delicious. Not too sweet. Vegan icing was a bit sweet but was amazing they could accommodate lactose free. Ordering is only done by email so account for at least a day between messages to figure out your order. Thank you!!!
Beautiful cake and excellent texture and flavor. I have celiac and need gluten free, they have lots of options and Meyer lemon was an excellent choice. Nobody would have known it was GF if we hadn’t told them.
