Over the Charles Rooftop Bar was such a great find. The views over the Charles River and Boston skyline are beautiful, especially in the evening, and the whole atmosphere feels relaxed and special without being pretentious. The drinks were excellent, the food was really good, and the staff were incredibly warm, kind and attentive throughout. A genuinely lovely rooftop and one of my favorite parts of the stay at the DoubleTree Suites Boston-Cambridge. Definitely worth going up for a drink, dinner, or just to enjoy the view.

We flew in along with another couple for the 4th of July 2026 rooftop dinner. We had spent hours on the phone booking a railing table months in advance for the rooftop dinner $250/person for food, no drinks, but we understand supply and demand so happy to pay it. BUT, it rained just as the happy hour was beginning and they cleared the entire rooftop. No one was at the entrance explaining the plan for fireworks and dinner. [EN] Amazing views of the river and very friendly service. The bar is quite small, with only a few tables, so it fills up quickly, especially during peak hours. Since it's an open-air rooftop, it can get chilly, particularly on windy evenings. The panoramic view of the river is spectacular—you can see the bridges and the beautiful curves of the river from above. The service and the experience was excelent, the place is really good and the view is amazing. Definitely maria Ospina gave us a really good service!! Recommended.
