Ovenell's is a rustic gem in Concrete! We were really pleased with the Bear Hollow guesthouse - plenty of room, spotless, well-equipped kitchen - everything we needed for a short trip to the North Cascades. The team was so friendly and accommodating; highly recommend Ovenell's!
The BEST place to stay in the North Cascades, WA! Try their jams, pastries, and desserts-- they are delicious.
We stayed in a cabin in mid to late April. Cabin was very clean and well maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful. We were the only ones staying in what I think is about 8 cabins, so the place was very quiet and peaceful. Absolutely a gorgeous spot with mountains all around and the river nearby. We stayed two nights and really enjoyed it. Our cabin had a propane fireplace which was nice to cozy up to on the chilly mornings. I'd stay again without hesitation.
This is a beautiful place with cabins and camp spots on a working ranch with spectacular mountain views. We stayed for 4 days with our pets in the Wrangler cabin. It had everything we needed and was very clean. Plenty of outdoors space to walk with the dogs and enjoy the views. Nicely maintained garden areas. The Wrangler cabin was tiny so you do need to adjust to that. Bed was comfy and the hand made soap was a special treat. Easy access to Concrete and the North Cascades. We look forward to coming back again someday.
