Not happy with all the restrictions on visiting. What happened to the law ensuring access to shoreline for fishing and recreation? How does turning an island into an outdoor education BUSINESS serve the public interest? It's like sending kids to Disneyland to teach them about engineering. If Quincy and Boston residents really cared about exposing the youth to nature and wilderness, they would allow greater access, and this wouldn't be a glorified glamping experience. I'm all for conservation, but this is a metropolitan area.... read more
Had a great experience with Outward Bound. The staff communicated well, they were very friendly, the boat ride was easy, the activities were great and the food was good. I have no idea about the cost since it was part of a corporate program. There were opportunities to meet others, build teamwork, learn leadership lessons and challenge myself.
