RecommendedThank you to all the folks at the Outpost for tuning up my bikes and making them like brand new. I so love having this neighborhood shop that has kept me fed and stocked with all the necessities during this difficult time. And a special thanks to Simone for recommending the delicious Pinot Noir that was absolutely delicious and just what I needed!
Outpost is excellent . Braden has been helping me with bikes for over 10 years now and it is very clear his goal is to share his passion for cycling and the Richmond community. Stop in before the ride for cold brew coffee and stop by after for a cold beer and tasty treats. His staff is knowledgeable and communication is super solid during the repair process. Not to mention the cool routes and group rides. I guarantee they will show you a cool place to take your bike ride that you didn’t know existed.

I am looking forward to coming in and getting to know the shop after Performance went under [where I bought my 3 bikes and had them serviced and adjusted without issue over the years] 😖. Reason being..... after an unexpected, disappointing interaction with another RVA shop I've been to before, I called Outpost in tears and y'all were willing to help me without making me feel bad for reaching out. My wife and I both got our bikes here. We didn’t know what we were looking for but we knew what kind of riding we wanted to do. Outpost is the perfect bike shop for the riding that allows you to see all that Richmond has to offer. The staff is great and the after sale support has been outstanding. A wonderful addition to the neighborhood. See you there!
Had my bike fit with Dave Luscan. Very comfortable space to do it- met Braden Who was very knowledgeable regarding the mechanical changes necessary for my bike and was quite thoughtful regarding costs and long term wear on my bike. Very friendly shop staff and some awesome wines. Thanks everyone!
