Great doctor. Very attentive.
Dr. Chen actively listened to my concerns and always provided a thorough explanation of the diagnosis and next steps needed to properly heal. He was very efficient and the longest I waited to be seen was 15 min beyond my scheduled appointment. I highly recommend him!
Dr. Chen explained my situation in simple terms. I appreciate him anticipating my concerns about surgery and recovery as well as sharing treatment options with me. Highly recommend him and the entire staff there.
Came in through Queens West ER from a beach accident. Dislocated & Broke my ankle in 3 different spots. Awaited surgery from Dr. Bellini after he snapped my broken bones back in place for a temp fix. My surgery got pushed back for a few days and Bellini referred me to Dr. Chen. Dr. Chen & his team at Island Ortho were really quick on getting me an appt for my consultation, then appt for surgery in 1 week. Dr.Reis was welcoming, took time explaining my issue, and let me know of all other routes to go if necessary in the future. Made me feel comfortable, and Knowledgeable for my medical needs.
