The front desk was absolutely lovely. Phlebotomist that happened to be working though? -Pushed my boundaries regarding my own body and brushed off where she’d be most successful. -Disappeared once the blood was drawn, despite me being a fainting risk. She did not wait for me to stand up and make sure I was okay. I’ve never had this happen, in spite of seeing countless phlebotomists. -Chased the vein, which you are not supposed to do. Blood test request by a doctor from Johns Hopkins was complete at this UPMC lad. I varified that the results would be sent to the requesting physician and was told that they would be, which is customary. Results were not sent to the requesting doctor. In trying to get the information sent to my doctor I got a run around from the central tech lab from UPMC advising what I had to do to get the info sent to my Dr. even though I provided a fax # and office #, which were on the origional script.
