I was in and out of the fracture clinic in 3/4 hour. In that time I was led to the X-ray department, the X-rays were reported on and I was seen by a senior registrar who told me the results, checked me, gave advice and checked I was having appropriate follow up with physio. I have been impressed with Westmead Hospital ever since my accident - every department has been kind, helpful and patient and I have felt heard. They are extremely thorough and I have had wonderful care from emergency, surgery and follow up.
Tried called at 9am and it tells me it's not open till 10am! Why does website say its open now ans opens at 8am
It's been 3 hours wait. Initially there were 8 patients in queue before us. After 1.5 hours 11 patients before us. A guy yelled at them and was seen immediately. Don't understand how they operate
System is abit confusing but works. Grab a ticket. Take a seat. Wait for reception to call your number. Check in with reception. Wait for your name to be called. There's multiple clinics in the same place. Could do with a bit of a revamp as the vibes abit bleak but it works and it's public so can't complain
