My wife and I had an amazing time kayaking with Outlaw River Rentals. They were so friendly and accommodating. They make you feel like family. Shout out to Seth for all his help! The float started up stream outside of town. They put the kayaks in the water for you and shuttle you back once you are done. Such a scenic drive up and float down the river. Really nice people, and very helpful! They showed me how to set up my paddle board and gave me great advice on which parts of the river are less crowded. They even waited to make sure I could get on the board safely, and were there in less than 5 minutes when I was done. I would highly recommend renting with them, both for fun and if you’re looking to get some experience before buying your own board/kayak. 10 stars from me, thank you again for accommodating me last minute!

We booked kayaks with this business for June 13–14, but due to severe weather, we were forced to cancel. At the time, they assured us that a refund would be issued. That was the last we heard from them. Since then, they’ve completely ghosted us, no replies to emails, messages, or calls. This seems to be a recurring pattern. After digging deeper, I found several other reviews from people with similar experiences. Despite this, they somehow maintain a suspiciously high 4.6 rating. Don't be fooled. A belated post--we rented a SUP and a kayak from Outlaw last fall, and the experience was ok at the time, though they seemed a little sketchy. A few months later however, they tried to charge my credit card for almost $400. If it was an honest mistake, they could have called and explained after the bank declined the charge, but since they did not, it appears to have been fraud. (I was reminded of all this after a trip with a different company last week that was super professional start to finish. Be careful!)

We were going to rent few kayaks for two days and had made reservations accordingly with Outlaw River Rentals early June, 2025. Bad weather lead to cancellation. We requested the cancellation and the owner agreed on refund. On asking how long it would take for the refund to show up in my account the owner ‘Lisa’ mentioned it would take 3-5 business days.
