My wife and I had an amazing time kayaking with Outlaw River Rentals. They were so friendly and accommodating. They make you feel like family. Shout out to Seth for all his help! The float started up stream outside of town. They put the kayaks in the water for you and shuttle you back once you are done. Such a scenic drive up and float down the river. Really nice people, and very helpful! They showed me how to set up my paddle board and gave me great advice on which parts of the river are less crowded. They even waited to make sure I could get on the board safely, and were there in less than 5 minutes when I was done. I would highly recommend renting with them, both for fun and if you’re looking to get some experience before buying your own board/kayak. 10 stars from me, thank you again for accommodating me last minute!

*AVOID THIS COMPANY* I used Outlaw for my wife and I’s anniversary last October. The owner was friendly and the kayaks were great. A few days ago I noticed an unauthorized charge on my card for over $300 from Outlaw River Rentals. I’ve called, but the voicemail box is full and the owner wont respond to text messages. Now I’m having to wait over a week for a new card to come in. This didn’t happen by accident, I’ve seen another review with the exact same thing on here. This was a deliberate action. If you want to see a different side of the river…give ORR a call today. They drop the rentals off to you and pick them up. That’s it. Nothing you have to worry about to enjoy going up and down the river. I will caution that there are some inconsiderate boaters headed out to the lake that have no regard for you. Expect wakes in a no wake zone. Other than that…head to the waterfall. Take in low and slow on the water. You’ll forget about the pressures of life. We rented 2 double kayak for a day and everybody had a blast. The kayaks were in very good quality. And Outlaw River Rentals let us extended the hours with no extra charge. The team were very friendly and explained all the renting/returning process as well as told us a little bit about the surrounding areas and what sightseeing we can do on the kayaks. We will definitely be renting from them again in the future. Highly recommended if you're looking for kayak rental.
