RecommendedThe expo itself was awesome. So many people and options and great opportunities! However, I very much do not recommend Sarah Keenan Photography (who I met at the expo last year) I'm trying to share my experience so that others will not have to go through the same thing. After having to cancel my wedding in Nags Head, OBX May 16th, 2020 since the island was shut off to the public due to covid, Sarah was extremely hard to get in touch with. They put on the best expo every year! We booked half our vendors at the expo and had an amazing wedding at Roanoke Island Festival Park.
The expo is amazing... been there 3 times. :) It's a fun girls' weekend for non-brides if you are a bride-to-be you learn so much about what you will want in your own wedding. Love OBX Wedding Association! #blessed
My now husband and I, attended the 2016 expo. One, we hands down found this to be the most exciting weekend we ever enjoyed. 2nd, we planned the entire wedding in that weekend. I got to have unique items, like my all seashell bouquet, I would have never considered if it weren't for seeing it and meeting Jodi at the expo. We were having our ceremony at our vacation rental until we went to the Sugar Creek Rest during the open houses on Sat night.
