Go anywhere else. Wait the long months it takes to get into somewhere actually worth going. They have no idea what they are doing. No communication with patients or in the office. They don’t listen to your concerns. And above all they are beyond rude and rush you. Worst doctors office ever… they change appointments without calling. Don’t call to let know your surgery is cancelled. You have to call. And even better, find out it was never actually scheduled in the first place. Take accountability and get it together people.

I had a TURP procedure with doctor Pond in July with painful results. I do not feel doctor Pond listened to my concerns or acted upon them in a way to expedite an end to my pain. My symptoms pointed to pudendal neuralgia so I asked about an MRI. She didn't think that was what I needed and she did not refer me to see a neurologist for what I suspected was pudendal nerve issues. Be very careful about costs. They referred me for a scan and asked if I wanted to get it at the Outer Banks Hospital. I agreed because this was the closest option. I did not realize the Hospital was going to charge more than $7000 for this scan, when I could have gotten the exact same scan in Virginia Beach for about $600. My mistake. I should have checked. But if a medical practice is going to refer me to an affiliated hospital, and that hospital is going to charge many thousands of dollars more than an alternative provider... read more
