The OBX Y is a great place to workout, and I really enjoy the fitness classes. All the instructors are knowledgeable and make the classes fun! The only reason I rated 3 stars is cleanliness. Almost everytime I come the bathrooms are extremely yucky, the lockerooms are OK but could be more kept up with. This location is much smaller than Currituck, so often I am waiting to use a machine. It would be nice if they could expand soon or add more machines. Overall, the people are friendly and I enjoy coming.

This ymca is wonderful! The place is always clean and they have routinely upgraded the equipment as well as the facility. Although it is not the biggest or most state of the art y I have been in, they make up for it with a great staff and “wonderful instructors”. Overall, it is a great facility, I give it 5 stars!

I went to the Outer Banks YMCA to explore membership options. I was warmly greeted by Donna and Sharon, and my first impression could not have been better. They were personable and informative. I joined immediately. Thank you Donna and Sharon for the warm hospitality
