Beautiful place, and welcoming atmosphere. A wholesome vibe for sure.
The staff is mostly good. They seem to be struggling for money. Which doesn't make sense, out of 350 sites only 50 are transit sites. So 300 sites with guaranteed money for 7 months they are open, should be better. A boat slip is 1800 for the season. There isn't enough staff or maintenance. Power fluctuations and water pressure issues. This park needs to catch up on their 5 year behind maintenance. The views and people here are pretty good. Great place to camp.
It's a nice place with friendly and helpful staff.. full hookups always seem to be difficult to get but this time we did. The hard part is leveling. The lake is beautiful.. Also we wish that they'd put someone up at the entrance gate because they could not only check you in but be able to give information about what sites are available. Having to drive around to look for yourself with no idea what's available just wastes time and it's not a small campground..
