I walked in Outdoor World and forgot to pull up my mask. The cashier was incredibly RUDE to me. “Excuse me ma’am this is a mask wearing store. There’s a reason I put signs in the window.” This might be an amazing store. Maybe it was a bad day. But in my opinion, If you aren’t detail oriented or have a mask continually strapped to your face, don’t go.”
RecommendedMy 20yo son and I wandered in during our first ever day in Estes Park (and CO, for that matter) and fell in live with this place. Lots of quality items to choose from, total “mom & pop shop” feel, and very friendly staff. We’ll be back!!!
We had a wonderful experience at Outdoor World. Being our first time in Colorado, their associate John walked us through all of the equipment we would need for our hike that day and took the time to give us directions and suggestions on the map. He was very kind and thoughtful. Highly recommend John and Outdoor World.
Your products are exceptional and long lasting. We still use all the equipment we bought at Outdoor World fifty years ago. It all works just as well as it did the first time we used it. Having the right equipment makes camping and hiking the best adventures you could possibly have.
