I truly had a memorable experience with Sophia Sattar at Picnic. I have attended her sessions twice, both times she proved to be an exceptional teacher. She has a wonderful way of explaining painting techniques— making them easy to understand, while keeping the atmosphere light and fun & encouraging. I attended a paint event at Paint & Picnic as part of a fundraiser. My first impression was that the setting is gorgeous and relaxing. Sophia provides all of the items needed such as paint, brushes, canvas, apron, etc., so all we really need to do is show up! Her instructions were easy to follow even for a non-artistic person like myself who last picked up a paintbrush over 25 years ago. We hosted my daughter’s birthday party at Paint & Picnic, and it was a fantastic experience. Sophia is amazing—she responded quickly to all our inquiries before the party, which made planning so easy. During the event, she was patient, engaging, and wonderful with the kids, making the painting activity fun for everyone. The setup was beautiful, the atmosphere relaxed, and everything went so smoothly. My daughter and her friends had the best time.
