This saloon is part dive-bar, part arcade and it serves some of the cheapest booze in this college town. The highlights here are great imported beer at even better prices and the old-school Shuffleboard deck. The bar is fully stocked with plenty of your favorite libations and throughout the year the bar hosts various leagues which include teams playing the aforementioned Shuffleboard as well as darts, poker and Nintendo Wii. I can only speak for my own experience. I was in town alone on vacation. Just sort of depressed and looking for myself. I walked down the street looking for breakfast about 11am. Looked up and saw a sign that said Saloon. It appealed to me for some reason,so I went in. Best decision I've made in a long time. I had a blast. Stayed till 2am. Met the owner. Nice guy. Just went for a green beer on Saint Patrick's Day... Got one and the floors had so much alcohol on them my shoes peeled off the floor. I don't drink often. Actually I didn't drink. My husband did. He was also given a free green women's shirt...lol plus some Green sunglasses. Huh any ways it's a dive bar with no pool to swim in. Good luck in here....
Had a good time for the majority of the night. A few friends joined me from out of town. We played pool, darts and had a few drinks. The first female bartender earlier in the evening was great. The male bartender who closed was also attentive and very professional. At closing, a patron said some pretty blatantly racist remarks.
