While on vacation, our Hilux Ute experienced mechanical issues. We contacted a Toyota mechanic in Alice Springs, but they had no available appointments for 3 weeks. We then tried a technician in Darwin with no luck. Fortunately, we were able to find a kind outback mechanic in Alice Springs who fixed our Hilux that same day. Thanks to them, we were able to continue our holiday without worrying about our car the next day. The people in Alice Springs were truly wonderful.
Great family run business who have done excellent work on my truck and Ute.
Don't go there. The bill was significantly more than the quoted price for a standard service. When asked why the male owner became rude and aggressive and told me I was trying to rip him off ! His actions were very unprofessional. I was told he had a bad week-end as if to justify his behaviour. The lady in the office could obviously read the situation and after speaking to the owner in a foreign language in front of me adjusted the account to what I was happy to pay. J C and family were very helpfull even under pressure with heaps of work in the Finke Desert Race week with my damaged turbo on my Hilux I incurred from the mud and water from a wet Simpson Desert crossing . I would certainly recommend them . Many Thanks Tony Scholes
