Amazing experience and education of our beautiful celestial night sky. We were blown away by the in depth commentary and technology used (high-tech telescope) and the story arc from ancient astrology to modern day astronomy. We learnt so much about the starry starry night. Would be of interest for novice to advanced star gazers. Thanks so much Linda and Travis! Highly recommend if you are visiting Broken Hill.
We had a great experience last week with a Moon night at Outback Astronomy. Instructions were clear on how to get there and get the best out of the evening. Linda has an excellent oratory style and is clearly passionate about Space. Travis did a cracking job on getting the telescopes set up and it was fantastic to see nebulas and the Moon on the TV screen casting what the telescope was seeing. Don’t miss this if you are in town.
Mindblown. Great infotainment. Visit by the ISS was a bonus.
If you're in Broken Hill and it's a clear night, go and do this. Amazing close up views of planets and stars, informative and entertaining. What we learnt stuck with us for the rest of our outback trip.
