Josh took on a challenging project for us when we were in a pinch to rap up some work on a house we were selling. He was very thorough in explaining the options we had and let us decide which approach we would like for him to take. The project came out great and we would definitely use Out of the Woods Carpentry again.
I’ll admit I was weary of hiring Josh or any Indiana contractor to work on my house on the northside of Chicago. However, I was pleasantly surprised and thrilled with the work he completed on my house. The cabinetry he custom built in my kitchen completed upgraded my kitchen space. Highly recommend.
Josh took care of 2 projects for us- building a living room mantle and repainting dining room chairs (red to black). He did a fabulous job on both. He is very detail oriented and cares greatly about the finished product- every bit as much as we do. He communicated regularly throughout the process with timetables and suggestions to improve the project. Josh is also very personable and we enjoyed working with him. We will not hesitate to use Josh on any future projects and recommend him highly.
I was looking for a carpenter to install ceiling beams for my kitchen and living room space. After a couple of disappointing consultations I found Josh. I cannot say enough good things about this experience. He brought my vision to life and transformed my home beautifully. He built the beams and guided me on a color choice which was spot on. Josh is meticulous and pays attention to all the details. He is a true craftsman and a genuine person. I couldn’t be happier with the way it all turned out!
