We booked directly through Vrbo.com in November 2025, about 10 months ahead of our September 2026 trip, specifically because this area books up early. We had a popular event (Jeep Jamboree) drawing us there. Exactly 50 days before our stay, VRC notified us the property owner had left their rental program and our reservation wouldn't be honored, not meaningful notice for a high-demand area during a major event weekend. Wonderful visit to the most charming A frame cabin secluded in the mountains of Ridgway. We visited Telluride and Ouray and all agreed that we were so happy to actually be staying in this perfect spot up in Ridgway. Beautiful view of the San Juan mountains and central location to all the hiking we had planned for the area. Cabin itself was perfect for our needs.
