This place is a good place to stay if you have plans to explore the area. Clean cabins, CLEAN restrooms that are shared between the "Rustic cabins" i sau they Clean them about 5 times a day. The showers are also very clean. The hot tubs have quite a bit of cems in them to keep them clean so it can be a bit much, but I would rather have that then a dirty hot tub. This resort is a gem! The rooms feel better than a lot of 4 star hotels I have stayed at. The towels are so lush, linens are plush and the hot tub is great with amazing views of beautiful Ouray! I only stayed a night but wish I had more time here! 100% recommend!
This was the best place to stay for a relaxing, mountain vacation! We stayed in a queen-bed Inn room which was perfect for this time of year. The cabins were enticing, but the smaller ones don't have bathrooms which could lead to a chilly walk for the communal bathrooms; having a bathroom en-suite was super nice for a Spring snow! *Original review Jan 2023* I've stayed here twice, summer of 2022 by myself in their Imogene cabin, and winter 2022 with my wife for Christmas Vacation in our camper in site 69. I came back because I loved this place the first time around. The resort and staff are great as is Ouray and the surrounding area. The cabin was perfect, it's small but has everything and I loved it.
