Very disappointing this program is marketed as “Our Military Kids” yet does not provide services for Active Duty children. A lot of these children also live away from military communities, as well as most relatives, and could use assistance coping with stress while their parent is deployed, often which is far more than the deployment rate of a reservists. Hopefully in the future this organization will consider expanding to provide activities for ALL Our Military Kids.

Thank you so much for taking care of “Our Military Kids”! My daughter used her grant for dancing and my son used his grant for art. This is a wonderful organization, and we are so grateful to the generous sponsors for helping these awesome military kids pursue their dreams!
Wow 2 millions kids at don’t have one of their parents around bc they are deployed in the military. This group helps those families and gives those kids grants to be able to something fun.
Our Military Kids is funding my son, Nathaniel’s first band camp at University of Maryland. He’s thankful and looking forward to the camp. Thank you as this helps him deal with the absence of his father during his long 9-month deployment.
Our military kids are serving just like their parent. And military families do not leave the luxury of extra money for things that help that child join in like the our kids in music lessons, baseball team, etc. Our Military Kids is there for them.

My kids have been able to take karate and have really enjoyed it and looked forward to it while their dad has been deployed. What a great program! We are so thankful!!
