I'm an Active Duty member assigned to a Reserve unit and am deployed with them. I was handed a flier during the processing line. When my wife applied for the benefit we were discriminated against because I was not reserve or guard member. I believe the name is incorrect because it should specify by saying "Our Reserve and Guard kids" if you're gonna discriminate. Second, why do people that only deploy for 60-90 days need this and yet those that deploy for 180 don't? I am not aware of any resource for deployed that discrimina... read more
