Lovely home, shame about the location! There was nothing within walking distance, and the house was situated on a developing estate with no character. So disappointed - we booked for 6 nights and ended up leaving after 3. The host did not seem to care.

What a beautiful cottage, upon arrival we had some home made bread and jam and also some milk in the fridge for the morning, as the local shop shuts at 6pm. The fireplace was all set up ready to be lit and plenty of wood already cut to be used. The outdoor bath was a great touch and we loved the location. Nice and quiet location in beautiful part of Victoria. We would recommend this stay for anybody and hopefully can head back down again.

Our stay at Mountford Cottage was excellent. The location was peaceful, the cottage was beautiful, relaxing and very comfortable. The hosts provided little extras which made us feel very welcomed. Will definitely return.
