Just visited for my COVID-19 Booster and the receptionist was the rudest individual I think I’ve encountered on a medical reception desk. No only did she ignore me when I was in line and continue to huff at her paperwork but her demeanor was immediately unpleasant when I made her aware I had a booked and confirmed appointment for my jab and she immediately told me bookings don’t start for another 2 hours. New update for those playing along at home. Here we are again. Been here almost 2 hours. Selected a doctor. 45mins ago was told there was 4 people in front. SHOCK guys theres still 4 in front. Have now changed to first available which I had ti do myself after going to the useless receptionist who said she would change it for me only to come to me 5mins later asking if my name was Naomi. At this medical centre, patients need to use an app to join a queue of people - either to see the first available Dr, or a Dr of their choice. In turn, the doctors on duty are questionably compelled to initially serve the patients who have elected to randomly see the first available Doctor PRIOR to seeing those patients who have rightfully joined an orderly queue to see them in person. I think they do an excellent job. Receptionist very welcoming and helpful and given that the Dr did not know me previously, he was excellent. I was referred for tests and felt it was a thorough process. Also helped my brother with vital scripts - thank you.
