The staff was professional and courteous. . However, ER room #4 held at near 80 degrees the entire time my friend was in there. Tried to adjust the thermostat and it did nothing but continue to blow hot. Staff was informed and stated “must be some crossed wiring somewhere”. Nothing was done to remedy the issue. Additionally, when you tell someone at 2:00pm that they’re being admitted, there is no excuse for still sitting here at 8:07pm. Multiple Nurses said they would bring her ice chips to help cool down, never happened.

This week, I had been to a different ER twice… the second time, I honestly felt unheard and not listened to as a patient. I have up entirely, then I woke up, with the pain so intense, I said nope, im going back to the ER I know and can trust. I went in and explained what was going on, gave them all the information I could from the previous visit, explained that I needed help. I have a high pain tolerance, but this had me in tears. The nurse was unprofessional when I fell, yelled at me for how I got into bed and left to then come back and “apologize” by saying that I was making them look like they weren’t doing their job. So inconsiderate of me. I was deliriously dehydrated after 3 days of cyclical vomiting. Learn some patience. The care was exceptional from the ER doctor who diagnosed me promptly and answered all questions I had with consideration. Without her I would not be fully recovered nearly 3 months later.

The first thing I noticed was that this facility was very clean. The staff were very kind and gentle. The doctor was very thorough in making sure my issues were addressed and the nursing staff communicated very well between us. I didn’t get any explanation as to what caused the issue that brought me in, but the staff made sure that I was okay. My only complaint is that there was no pillow on my bed and I got a very stiff , sore neck after being in there for several hours.

I would not recommend this hospital to anyone. Save yourself the time and go somewhere else. Dr. Sonnier is rude and treats patients like dirt. I've complained on him numerous times and no one ever responds back. I would rather stay sick than go back to this hospital.
