HSA wrote a check to pay medical costs for visit. Billing claims they never got it and told me to cancel that check and send another. I do that and then miraculously they find the first check and try to deposit it, of course it’s canceled so it bounces. They then have the audacity to charge me a fee for this. When I try to dispute it, as I was only trying to help them get paid faster, they tell me no problem not to pay. Today I find out that they sent this fee to collections. Bruh, it’s $40. Ridiculous wait time, so many people that came in after us were getting seen before us and they were not emergent, sat there for 5 hours. At the front desk I asked if I would have to pay for anything today as I could not was told I would not and that they cannot refuse medical treatment for lack of funds.This was False information, as I was told at leaving that I did in fact have to pay for services rendered before leaving. This is NOT your typical ER this is a glorified Urgent care. Go to the hospital ER. Not here.

Went for a persistent cough and hard time breathing. Was swabbed for everything. Came back negative. Dr came in. Said I had bronchitis. I would think a stethoscope should have been used. But hey I’m not a doctor. I got a shot of steroids and a prescription to drop off for the cough, 1 pill every 8 hours, and a steroid, 4 pills once a day for 5 days. Going to another doctor today because I feel worse.
