I had a surprisingly wonderful experience here. I walked in thinking I was having a heart attack, and learned I was really having a panic attack. All of the nurses and doctors were extremely patient, caring, kind, and non-judgmental. I felt a bit silly after the fact but each staff member made me feel validated and OK. I have been now sitting in the waiting room for 4 hours with an open gash on my leg that is still bleeding. They walk right past me and are extremely rude no matter how patient or kind I have been. The only “nice” person was the security guard who winked and blew me a kiss. Don’t ever take yourself or your loved ones here. I’ve been bleeding for hours without a single staff member caring or even saying a nice word. In about 2 hours I won’t even be eligible for stitches but I will be eligible for an infection!!! The worst ER in the entire state, do not waste any of your time here. Go to Miriam Hospital and or Rhode Island Hospital for any medical emergency’s. I wish I could Rate this a -1 star.
Deserves half of 1 star , the Nurse was practically verbally abusing senile elderly patients and I was dehydrated and sick and they didn't give me food or much water at all, they discharged me first thing in the morning with no after plan when I asked for further treatment. I would honestly not wish my worse enemy to go to this hospital . I hope this hospital gets what it deserves and gets shut down and everyone loses there licenses and jobs that's how much I despise this hospital, worst Medical experience of my life 0/10
I went there for a pain in my back to make sure it wasn’t my kidneys and left with a swollen wrist
