I asked for an appointment a week in advance. I came on time and there was no lady available to do my hair. Apparently the lady was “on her way” and I had to wait. The place also was running out of hair and was annoyed I didn’t bring my own hair… Would’ve been nice to know in the first place. After an hour of waiting I had to walk out. My time was disregarded. I made a hair appointment down the street instead. Needs better management and scheduling! People have lives. Very unprofessional.
Terrible. I asked them for medium butt length braids and they gave me jumbo boneless braids. And then I told them I didn’t want to continue because I didn’t like the hair, they said they won’t undo it and I still paid the full price. Why open a company knowing you can’t meet the needs of a client.
The owner and the braider are very annoying. She gave me time to come at 10am and I called her in the morning to confirm she told me she will be 30mins late. I was coming from Northreading and I told her no problem. They did not get to the shop till 10:48am and they still have the gut to be yelling at me after I told them they need to open the door because I am freezing because I have been standing outside waiting for them. The owner called and started yelling at me. Don’t go there if you don’t want your time to be wasted.
Oumou is downright THE BEST in the world! I am not exaggerating: I am a nomad, traveling the world and braiding my very thin puffy hair (I am a white girl) for nearly 17 years.
