My doctor and nurse assistant have abandoned me in my time of need. I was seizure free for 15 years and out of nowhere began having grandmal seizures along with other kinds I’d never had before. I was ordered an eeg (which they forgot about for 3 weeks, during this time my situation worsened) when I finally got my eeg I was told they’re too busy to get me in to go over my results and get help from my doctor. I do not recommend this clinic for epilepsy patients. If you have a spike in seizures and need a checkup one will not be available to you bc the schedules are NEVER open. I've been told since may, right after my appointment they will get me on the schedule. I was just told I can't be seen till January now, but not too sure bc don't have the schedule till then. The entire staff at the Neurology Clinic were amazing! The receptionists were both incredibly friendly, the nurse that took my vitals was very friendly, and both the Attending Dr. Anadani and Resident Dr.Le were amazing! Resident Dr.Le was friendly, professional, attentive, and receptive to my ideas regarding my condition/symptoms and he was very patient with my long timeline of symptoms. I have been a patient of this clinic for years being seen by Dr. Rhonda Coleman-Jackson she was absolutely phenomenal and will be missed greatly. I had to call this clinic to follow up as they basically let me drop off meds in need of refill and just sitting on the fax machine. If my pharmacy has faxed over several requests and the clinic informed me we cant refill your medicine without an appointment. You mean the appointment you failed to call and schedule? I saw Dr Amos and she is phenomenal. She is very thorough while going through my history and symptoms as well as when it comes to ordering further testing. I’ve had horrible experiences for the past 11 years with different neurologists when I lived outside of Oklahoma, and I finally feel like I’m being listened to. She is also very kind, compassionate and reassuring. I finally feel hope.
