I was a patient going through the process of getting transplant listed through OU. 1. Before I began, they advised they would most likely use some of my testing i had done at Baptist. They used none. 2.OU also told me they wouldn't need approval from my Urologist at Mayo, that they would confirm absence of cancer themselves. Wrong again. See below. 3. The transplant center was ran better when Dr. Sebastian was there. He explained your care and treatment much better than Drs today. Communication between everyone needs MUCH IMPROVEMENT. The phone system to get through to talk to your specific RN and clinic is ridiculous like why don't the system have 1vnumber that goes directly to the clinic instead of have to go thru the same automated answering process multiple times before you in touch with someone.
I’ve had my transplant for 3 weeks now my transplant team and doctors are the best I’ve ever seen they take care of me and especially they LISTEN! Never in a hurry I’m so very thankful for OU transplant
