I personally wouldn’t recommend this location. The front desk staff, medical assistant and providers have no issue wasting your time and money. They will see you for a consult schedule a procedure 3 months out, just to have you arrive and them want to change the procedure. There is no communication between the providers and it’s a revolving door so you may get some one new every time. The front desk staff is condescending and very rude. I had 2 procedures done by Dr. Steven Carter. He and his team were all amazing. They were friendly and took the time to make sure all my needs were met every time I went to the clinic or called. Both Dr. Carter and his team truly care about their patients and giving them the best care possible. I would 100% return to them if I ever had medical need.

I'm giving OU general surgery a 1 star. My son was discharged from the hospital on Monday after only two days in the trauma unit, having multiple fractures and surgery. He has been prescribed a prescription that he can’t even pick up because the PA wrote the RX For a Level 2 opioid so that the pharmacy won't release it he has been in excruciating pain for the last two days. I cannot get anyone on the phone or obtain an email back... WHAT A CROCK! Who is over this operation?

I would put negative stars if possible They don't listen to you at all, will ask you same questions over and over while in your room and disregard your concerns. They do nothing for pain control. I had major stomach surgery and was on liquid only diet but yet the were forcing me to take oral pain meds and trying to make me take at least ten other pills.. I would think if I can't have solid food then why should I be taking solid meds. I would not recommend using ou for anything especially surgery.
