The rooms are very clean
Myself and my partner’s tent collapsed while camping in high winds and rain, and had to abandon our campsite in the middle of the night. We called around 11:30pm (way after close) and Graham answered our call. He made sure we were accommodated and set everything up for us even though he wasn’t on site. We arrived to a clean room and are so appreciative of his kindness and his help. Without him we might’ve had to drive 3 hours to Melbourne in the dark and rain. Great little motel that appears to have been newly renovate. Everything worked well, as the rooms were nice and clean, the motel owners were very friendly and accommodating. It was in a great location for the purpose of our trip to Colac.
The room was good, as were the amenities (loved the extra pillows and blankets), and nice touch of breakfast being served to the room. However the walls were VERY thin and people were being loud at night, which was frustrating. Also, the price for the night was more expensive than the beachfront hotel we stayed at in Apollo Bay and the nice hotel we stayed at in central Melbourne, so perhaps we had higher expectations.
