Last year Otto did some work involving the installation of a masonry wall. This year, we had more work done, which included rebuilding a portion of that wall that was destroyed when a car crashed into it! We went back to Otto and his trusted crew. They quickly assessed the damage, and in very short order brought back the wall to where it was before in a seamless manner. I see a lot of very impressive reviews which is why I picked Otto's Masonry to build a 70 foot long by 3 foot high retaining wall across my backyard. The job was completed July 2026. The block-work looks very good and is level across the entire span. However, I have to say that there are several aspects of the work that bother me; having confirmed my unease now with a professional mason. I cannot recommend Otto's Masonry highly enough, especially if you own an older property in Toronto. We recently hired them to do some repairs on our century home that we just bought last year. The work included tuckpointing, brick replacements, and replacing an old basement windowsill with concrete bricks. Connor provided a clear quote the very same day, and Joe made scheduling seamless. We had an excellent experience with Otto Masonry. Eduardo and Alex did an amazing job on the foundation work at our house, putting in a 12-hour day with incredible care and attention to detail. The finished work looks fantastic, and we were especially impressed with how beautifully they were able to work around the existing vines without damaging them. Professional, hardworking, and clearly proud of their work. Highly recommend Otto Masonry and would happily give Eduardo and Alex 5/5 stars!
