This community is invaluable to my family. They provide top notch care and truly go out of their way to make people feel welcomed and valued members of the community. Staff are caring and compassionate and take the time to listen to people which is essential! I love the church on the campus and residents in all areas always appear genuinely very happy. I would give extra stars if I could as they are truly that committed to their mission and the community!
As both an Otterbein partner AND as someone whose father was a patient at Otterbein of Lebanon, it is an excellent facility. The staff are caring, compassionate, and just all around first class. The facility is top notch, with a lot of great amenities. Dad was really happy here and I was really happy to have him here.
Floor staff is wonderful, but they are overworked and underpaid. The administration does not care about the residents or their families. It costs a fortune to live in the memory care unit and yet the facilities are unhygienic. They continue to cut back on staff. The communication is terrible. Etc. There is currently a bed bug infestation and they have not notified the families. They did not handle it properly months ago when the first bug was found. I can’t say enough about Otterbein! The community is warm and welcoming, and the staff truly go above and beyond to treat elders with respect and dignity. The entire team provides outstanding support and truly focuses on quality of life, which makes such a difference. I’m so grateful for the compassion and professionalism shown every day.
