Good people who are a pleasure to work with.
Otter tail power company needs better EV incentives. There are companies like Excel energy, offer a 2nd service meter discount, and provide recommended companies to help with the install.. on top of their rebate and off peak charging rates.. I called Otter Tail and got little to no help aside from directions to their website.. from there I called contractors and was quoted $4,000 for the work (not including the stage 2 charger, needed to be apart of the program). About what you'd expect from a power company. No hidden fees, easy to work with, and simple to pay bills online or in person. I was a customer of theirs for about four years, and overall, I was quite satisfied with the service. The only reason I don't give them 5 stars is that often when there was adverse weather the power would go out.
