Erik was the best! He didn't sell out to corporate greed, and his love for all animals was amazing. I would give 5 stars if he was still the owner and vet. Unfortunately he has retired. I will have to find another honest and dedicated vet. That seems unlikly. Thank-you Erik for all your dedication, love of animals and fair pricing! Enjoy yoour retirement....you deserve the best!
First time to the clinic today, front desk staff and doctor were awesome! Very knowledgeable, listened well, good bedside manner. Assuaged a lot of my fears! Thanks, Otterpoint!
This vet clinic was much better when owned by Erik. Since changing hands, the quality of care we have received for our dog has rapidly declined. Brie Hamblin is unprofessional, emotionally dysregulated, and appears disorganized in her approach to animal care. It is a shame that Brie Hamblin is single-handedly ruining this clinic, as all other staff I’ve interacted with there have been nothing but pleasant. We will never be returning, and I highly suggest any potential new clients stay away.
I just had the most horrible vet experience of my life at this clinic. Following a series of medical mistakes that caused unnecessary suffering for my dog, Dr. Hamblin blamed me for the issue, repeatedly interrupted me, and then accused me of interrupting her. She immediately raised her voice, stated that my expressing disappointment in the handling of the situation was equivalent to "insults and slander," and threatened to call the police and have me charged with trespassing if I did not leave her clinic. The original veterinarian was awesome - he really demonstrated a love and compassion for animals. I recently I took our 18 yr old Rotty/Shepherd cross to be put down - I explained she was a rescue and terrified of vets. The first needle jab she yelped and jumped a mile - this did not appear to be more humane than a bullet. The second attempt bent the needle - I was laying across my dog to hold her still, my heart dissolving in my chest. The third attempt worked, and after a few minutes she was finally sleeping.
