I highly recommend Fan Mackenzie. She is very knowledgeable about family law and the child support system. She was very efficient with my time and her time, which I really appreciated. She is a straight shooter and I liked that/needed that given the situation I was facing. She gave me guidance through a high stress situation and I would recommend her to anyone going through a common law separation or divorce.
Ottawa West Family Law was referred to me by a Law Firm that couldn’t take me in because my case was not complicated and it was an uncontested trial. It was basically not much of a case to make money from, yet Fan accepted me as a client. I am writing this review to show how unethical Mrs. Fan MacKenzie is. Mrs MacKenzie ethics are questioned twice as lawyer and psychologist (B.Sc. in Psychology). She represents my ex-husband in the divorce process. As soon as me and my ex-husband we are close to reaching a settlement Mrs MacKenzie sends emails about spousal support, I have emails and texts from my ex-husband where he makes it clear that he is not looking for spousal support.
