The department that handles exposure to diseases such as rabies is honestly terrible. Not once did she ask me about the symptoms the animal was exhibiting and just jumped to saying this animal doesn't have rabies and to release it back into the wild. WELL, it either has rabies or distemper and she just told me to release it putting POPULATIONS of animals at risk. Absolute joke of a department.
Dropped by to get tdap vaccine. Staff was friendly and provided information on where I could get. However an immunization clinic not offering vaccines is hard to believe.
Warmly supporting & competent both during and after Covid. Made me feel safe both during lock down & after as aging individual. A great service .
The staff at Ottawa public health, especially Susie were so helpful these past few days organizing post-rabies shots. A follow up shot at the public health community hub at the Rideau high school was quick and easy with the kindest staff. They took their time with each patient and delivered great care. Really appreciate the work they do, they are really organized and are very competent.
