Everyone needs to realize how hard these guys work! Keeping your power on is serious business and not as easy as you may think. All you whiners should go over to nyseg see what your bill is then. Im grateful for my OEC electric company! Especially Steve Stickler who has gone above and beyond to keep our power on. Thank you Steve!!
Wish I could give a zero, I guess arching at the transformer is not a big deal to Otsego Electric. There was a branch on the wires by the transformer and 2 hrs later a truck showed up. Apparently they had wires down elsewhere but maybe they should have crews working in other locations not just location riding around staying dry. You get no where by calling the office.
Garbage harassing me last month weeks before the shut off date. I never have power but they installed internet but they don't groom the lines it's all I'll get rich I'm a narcissist ppl don't matter
Calling for 20 minutes straight and a busy signal. This is 2025 not sure how a business has a busy signal let alone for 20 minutes straight
Wish I could give zero stars, we’ve lost power 8 times in the past 10 months, majority of those lasting multiple days. No one else I know loses power as much as I do. If it rains, snows, or is windy we lose power. I’ve had to replace all the food in my refrigerator multiple times as well. It’s ridiculous.
