As someone visiting from out of town, this restaurant impressed me completely. I had tried sushi in the Denver area the night before and it was nothing compared to this food, this service, and this experience! Let me set the scene. We are visiting Denver from Minnesota. It was Sunday night, my friend and I just had a very long day, we were tired and in very low spirits. Excellent value for the best sushi and small plates in Denver. Especially if you go to Happy Hour. The sushi was the best in Denver (except for the hand roll which was just ok). Perfect temperature, texture, and flavor. The sushi rice was the best I ever had. The scallop kushiyaki was excellent. And you can even get the wagyu kushiyaki for $5 on HH. It was fantastic. What a great spot! Delicious food and good service too. Had the yuzu gimlet, crispy spicy tuna, and miso cod - they did not disappoint.
