I’m a big fan of Sushi Den so I was excited to go to OTOTO. The food was excellent and the happy hour menu is great, lots of options and great value for the price. However, the service was extremely slow and our waitress was inattentive. We sat at the sushi bar and for some reason the bartender was our waitress. My mom, brother and I went to eat before I flew back to New York. My mom and brother were so impressed by the food. Our server was Emma, she was so attentive and made you felt so at peace when we asked questions. She took the extra mile on hospitality of explaining things and any requests. Such great service that it sticks out when I think of a great server I’ve had.
Definitely a new favorite spot!
Terrible service. Our first dish was the main course we ordered. My friend didn’t get his ramen until the rest of us finished eating. The waitress held the ramen without asking us first. The entire searching flow was a disaster. And we were asked multiple times for plates while we were still working on it like they needed those plates back in the kitchen. The two unagi don were luke-warm which were sus. Not recommended and won’t go back.
