Long ago I was asymptomatic and went for a checkup and was told I had celiac disease and pushed to get supplements he sells on site and was told I needed to go to his on site gym for an additional fee. After about a year of adjusting my diet and nearly weekly on site labs he billed my insurance for, I got a second and third opinion and both were absolutely not, I didn't have it. Local doctors asked before I told them if this is who I went to. I know multiple people in town told and sold the same thing. Suspicious at best.
My son and I had very serious health issues that several Dr's either dismissed by saying we were fine (because they weren't sure what to do) or dismissed as hypochondriacs. Being I had some medical training in the health realm I was scared because the Dr's were putting my growing teenager on harder and harder meds instead of trying to go a different route and I could see his health dwindling. Horrific.

This provider did not want to treat my infection with antibiotics, instead he tried to push vitamins from the vitamin shop connected to his practice. When I turned down the vitamins he was rude. I'm old but able minded enough to know how I want to be treated. Mr. Otero was unprofessional and does not like patients with Medicaid. I will travel outside of the Clovis, NM area to be treated with respect.
