We spent 5 nights at this idyllic location by the river Derwent. The bungalow was spacious and comfortable. Great to have a bbq for the evenings. It's a drive from shops and facilities but if you like self-catering away from the hustle and bustle, then this is perfect.

Otago cottage such a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. If its a coffee in the morning or a beer or wine in the arvo the view is always superb. The cottage is great for couples or families and offers everything you could want for a self contained stay. The hosts Tim and Karen are the loveliest of people and so helpful in every way imaginable. We stayed for 11 nights and seen every sight we possibly could . Tim and Karen thank you so very much it was exactly what we needed.

If you are looking for a quiet, serene, tranquil, and peaceful place with solitude away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this is the place one should go for. It has a beautiful river view, hill view and has a miniature park in itself just right in front of your cottage with birds, rabbits and hares moving around freely.
