They advertise Zero money down and financing available but when I went to talk to them, they wanted $4000 as a retainer for a first offense possession charge where the amount is under a quarter gram.. Ridiculous!

I would have been better off filing my BK without paying over $2,000 to Oswalt Law. I have done everything and I am still not done. They continue to confuse me with lengthy emails. There is a total lack of communication with them. You call them and they don't call back. Save yourself the money and do it yourself. I would rate them zero if that was available!

Never use this law firm for anything. I was in the process of filing for bankruptcy and determined I could pay my debt off so I requested a refund. I paid in almost $1,400 and only got back $600. They charge a ridiculous amount of money for phone calls and emails, even when they’re the ones who contacted me. I never spoke with an attorney even though they are claiming/charging that I did on several occasions. I tried calling to ask about these charges but gave up because the guy was so rude.

My claim was complete in November 2020. Going in I was told one thing so I held off for a while and later found out the information was incorrect. I had a judgement that I told them about when we filed and they did nothing about it until I had 2 weeks garnished (mind you this was 6 weeks into it) and I called them everyday to make sure they were sending the correct info to the other attorney. when it came tile to file due to covid-19 we were not able to meet to go over my credit report. We are in the process of filing Chapter 7 Bankruptcy and called with questions. Nick was amazing! I was rear-ended by a driver who was texting and Oswalt Law Group handled all of my legal needs with such professionalism and dedication. Maribel was wonderful about keeping me informed every step of the way. She fought for me and made sure I received the compensation I deserved. They also handled my husband's case in 2016 after a horrible motorcycle accident and made sure he received all the assistance he needed. I wouldn't go to anyone else for personal injury. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!! My wife and I are looking to file bankruptcy. We saw this firm online and their office was very close to our home so we set up the initial meeting a few weeks in advance (we both had to schedule days off from work in ahead of time). Went to the Peoria office and the attorney there totally misinformed me. Stated I had to do a Ch 13 and that the courts look at your future income not past. Three other attorneys from other firms confirmed this is inaccurate. Just be informed before you go in. Grateful I didn't do business with them.
