I had an appointment at the Lemoyne office at 10:30am on Feb 6th (the morning of the awful ice storm). I had had the flu the week of Jan 27th which caused an asthma exacerbation requiring me to spend a night in the emergency room and my recovery has been a long and scary one. I had my first appointment scheduled for 8:45am today. I was checked in and paid my copay on time. Thereafter, I was taken to a room very quickly. However to my surprise, the medical assistant who took me and saw me in the room, advised me the dr. (Dr. Henry Ostman) was not in the building and had not arrived yet. My husband was recently admitted to the West Shore Hospital suffering from blood clots in each lung. Dr. Ostman was the doctor assigned to his case. Dr. Ostman always took the time to discuss all procedures with us to make sure we understood what was being done and why the procedure was being done. He came by every morning and told us how my husband was doing and answered all of our questions. He has a calm and reassuring bedside manner. We were very fortunate to have Dr. Ostman as my husband's doctor.
